Every speaker.
One AirPlay.

Samspel puts one AirPlay speaker in your Mac's menu bar. Play to it, and the music plays on all your speakers at once, in sync.

Coming soon for macOS
The Samspel icon: three speakers under two arcs

How it works

No new hardware. Samspel finds the speakers on your network and joins them into one.

Start Samspel

It lives in the menu bar and finds your Chromecasts, Sonos and DLNA speakers and your Apple TV.

Pick "Everywhere"

In Music, Spotify, a browser or any app that plays to AirPlay, choose the speaker named Everywhere.

Listen in every room

Every speaker plays the same moment of the song. Samspel keeps them together while you listen.

Works with the speakers you have

Different brands, different protocols, one group.

  • Chromecast
  • Google Cast groups
  • Sonos
  • UPnP / DLNA
  • Apple TV
  • Other AirPlay receivers

In sync, automatically

Speakers buffer audio differently. Samspel measures each one while it plays and pulls it back on time when it drifts.

Fine-tune each speaker

One speaker sounds a little early or late? Move it a few milliseconds from the menu bar. Leave out any speaker you do not want.

What is playing

The menu bar shows the title, the artist and the cover. An Apple TV in the group shows the now-playing screen.

Stays on your network

The audio goes from your Mac to your speakers on your own network. Nothing goes through a cloud.

Samspel is almost here

The Mac app is in its last tests. This page tells you when you can get it.

What you need

A Mac
macOS 14 Sonoma or later.
Your network
The Mac and the speakers on the same network. macOS asks for Local Network access the first time.
Speakers
Chromecast, Sonos, UPnP/DLNA or AirPlay. An Apple TV must allow AirPlay from "Anyone on the Same Network" or "Everyone".
